“Sorry about that. We’re not perfect.”  Apple’s one liner from the press conference today.

While supposedly all phones from other manufacturers have the same antenna problem (due to physics) only a small proportion of Apples phones are affected .  Either way… Free cases or bumpers for all!

Apples play was much needed and ample but I still feel like they should have served a larger slice of humble pie…

What do you think?  Was the issue overblown by the media?  Should Apple have even apologized?  Was their press conference a backhanded apology lacking the sincere tone of a concerned and responsible company?  Has Apple’s brand turned into into something that they’ve fought so hard against for all of these years?

Something tells me this one hasn’t been put to bed yet.  Apple has positioned themselves as the best and easiest, can they keep up the image of perfection now that they’ve admitted to the world that they aren’t perfect?

If I were Apple I’d start reading some Seth Godin books ASAP.  Things are about to get crazy.”Sorry about that. We’re not perfect.”  Apple’s one liner from the press conference today.
